In mid-2009, Victore Insurance Company became a part of the American Safety Insurance Group of Companies. ASI, which recognizes the value of specialized offerings, saw Victore as an ideal fit for its own surety expansion initiative. Victore's bond underwriters are well-known in Texas and Oklahoma as the premier provider of a variety of bonds for small contractors and were looking to expand geographically. ASI's surety staff still provides customers with the same level of service and knowledge, but is able to offer an expanded product with larger limits to accommodate larger accounts.
Bonds are written on American Safety Casualty Insurance Company paper, which is admitted in all states and the District of Columbia (excluding CT, MA and NH) and offers limits up to $5 million single limit/$10 million aggregate limit and carries a Treasury-listing of $7 million. American Safety Casualty Insurance Co. is rated "A" (Excellent) by A.M. Best.
