Due to the recent flooding disaster and as instructed in the Illinois Director of Insurance's Memorandum (CB#2008-04-Exceptions for Consumers in Disaster Areas), American Safety Insurance has informed its operational units of the Director's expectations, guidelines and timeframes for each directive listed in the CB#2008-04 Memorandum, which govern treatment of all affected policyholders.
